This historic complex, constructed in 1893, will house 27 formerly homeless Veteran families, creating a warm and supportive environment that nurtures community and healing. With a special emphasis on single parent vets, it embraces the opportunity to serve singles, couples, and families with children, recognizing the varied needs of those who have valiantly served our country. Onsite, a daycare center operated by the University of Southern California will not only provides exceptional care for the children of residents but also serves as a wonderful resource for parents reentering the workforce or advancing their education. Furthermore, the complex will offer coaching and other transformative services that empower the Vets to embark on a fresh start, addressing their immediate needs while fostering their long-term aspirations. The integration of wellness and career services will make Casa living truly exceptional, ensuring that residents have access to holistic support that promotes both personal and professional growth, ultimately inspiring them to thrive as invaluable contributors to society.
